Tomorrow will appear the 3rd season of Dark, one of the best TV series from Netflix. It is a German production, a Netflix (Deutschland) Original from the very beginning, with German actors, who talk only in German. If you are skeptical, stop it and give it a chance. I’d say at least the first three episodes. The story is so complex, and you can’t understand anything at first, but don’t be disappointed; every person who watched it had the same feelings and emotions. You’ll be amazed by the story.
When I think about this TV series, I become, instantaneously, very enthusiastic. I watched the first two seasons twice, and the second time everything was a little bit clearer. You’ll be asking questions the whole time: Why? How? What is going on? And so on… It’s almost impossible to describe this production because almost everything could be a spoiler.
So, I’m only gonna tell you this: in a small town, Winden, in Germany disappears 2 children. No one knows how, or why. These 2 disappearances are similar to another case from 1986, a case that wasn’t elucidated. Some of the middle-aged and old-aged start to recognize some patterns from 1986. I won’t continue because I’ll enter into the spoilers, and I don’t want to. The story is fabulous, with a lot of twists you can’t even think about it.
On the acting part, everyone is incredible. All the actors did everything perfectly, even though some of them are not so much on the screen. Every character is important to the story. In the beginning, it will be hard to remember all the names, but in time you’ll learn them; just be patient. I’d also recommend you to watch this TV series in German because the actors transmit a lot of emotion, which isn’t the same if you’ll watch it dubbed.
The cinematography is so beautiful. If you haven’t watched any German movies before, you’ll be amazed. The soundtrack is, also, perfect because it transmits a lot of emotion, especially when something important is discovered.
I’ll write another article about the whole TV series in July, where I’ll talk about every scene I liked with spoilers. But until then, you have to watch it, you definitely won’t regret it. Stay safe and enjoy it!
