“We earn the right to pick on Greendale by going there every day. Our school may be a toilet, but it’s our toilet. Nobody craps in it but us.”

The 2nd season of this great sitcom returns with more incredible episodes, and more study-group moments. This season maintains the same originality with “parodies” episodes. The group decides on the new optional course – anthropology, which has a funny teacher.

I’ll talk about some episodes (my favorites). The 4th episode, Basic Rocket Science, was really interesting, with an old space simulator. The 6th one is also one of the best from the entire season; it is called Epidemiology, and it presents a Halloween party that transforms into a zombie assault. The 9th episode had a lot of twists, the reason why it is the most unpredictable episode from this season. It is called Conspiracies Theories and Interior Design, and it focuses on Jeff, Annie, and Dean. And all the episodes from 19 – 25 are so good, especially the 23rd and 24th (A Fistful of Paintballs and For a Few Paintballs More). It occurs another paintball competition, only this time everything is orchestrated by the rival college. These are my favorite episode from this 2nd season.

On the character part, I’d say they invested a lot of time in Shirley, which was a great thing to do, although she is not one of my favorites. Abed is so cool, every scene with him on the screen is so funny, I liked him a lot this season. Annie is a character you’ll get emotionally attached; I’m curious to see what will happen with her in the following seasons. Jeff is still Jeff, his style is just the same as in the first season. Pierce becomes annoying sometimes, but he is “our” Pierce at the end of the day. About Britta, I don’t know what I could say. She becomes more mature, just like Annie.

If you liked the 1st season, you’ll love the 2nd one. I hope you’ll like it. Enjoy it and stay safe!
